gifting suite

So for my Mother's Day gift I took direct inspiration from the glorious Ez from Creature Comforts and created a moderate replica of her amazing Gift of Gift Wrap diy project.  It really was an easy project that was actually super fun to put together. I did it in one night and it was fun packaging all those lil things up!

I'm sure I did not do her genius any justice but I would love to receive a present like this.  It is full of fun hidden cute things - all of them totally useful! I took her advice of choosing a color palatte, and I chose my favorite one - red and light blue.  It turned out really beautifully.  Click here to see Ez's original post and see below for images of mine. Apologies for the photo quality, these were taken at 2am when I had finished putting everything together. A little blurry and a little dark!

I used a lot of my own craft supplies (tags, doilies, stickers, ribbons, twine, cards) but had to fill it out, so I bought a few cards I loved, along with some tags and stickers,  little plastic bags  and finally some gift boxes, matching pens and tissue paper from Paper Presentation. I designed a few of the tags and cards, but mostly I took advantage of all the amazing free printables available on the internet.  I hope I don't get in trouble for re-coloring some of the art to fit my color scheme. The originals were amazing but I needed reds and blues! Some of the ones I chose were from Creature Comfort's suggestions, others I found on my own.  Either way, here are links to all of the downloads I used!

All in all this was really fun to put together and special thanks to Creature Comforts for providing the beautiful inspiration!
