november rain

it has been hot as holy hell lately and yesterday and today it is monsoon wedding out there. i am SO glad it's raining!! it is pretty and it sounds nice and it's washing away all the smells of summer.  in new york the smells of summer are not like your summer smells.

here, summer smells like:

1. old food

2. gross people sweat

3. GARBAGE

4. hot pee

5. hot dirt

6. freon

so this clean sweep is really very nice.

rainy days are the best for listening to music.

there are a lot of good rain songs and i didn't include all the good ones, just the ones that make me feel the rainiest.  in no particular order and with absolutely no reason, here is a list of rainy little songs to listen to, rain or shine.
