before the bird

jamie and i went on a babymoon back in november 2010 to st. barths, our favorite place in the world. we went for our honeymoon, we went for our babymoon, we will go in many moons for more moons.  i shot some videos when we were there but i misplaced the legendary harinezumi and i assumed all was lost. yesterday i found it (!!) and tonight i did a silly little mashup of it.  here is our little baby's moon, before she was our sun, stars and universe.

i'm off to the country with my cute super adorable husband and my less adorable self.  we are going to spend the weekend hanging out and swimming with our dogs and my family and my super duper gorgeous niece Finley! not too shabby.

a california jubilee

downtime

i have a moment of downtime since jamie is returning pirate radio (such a cute movie) to the video store, so i thought i'd take my moment and spend it with you. as it's been very hot (and so lovely) here in palm springs, i've been wishing i had a few more pairs of sassy sandals to wear out and about.  as i've gotten older, i've gotten less and less physically able to tot around in heels all day and night (thanks, knees).  while i've managed to amass quite the collection of beautiful flat ballet shoes, sometimes when summer rolls around, i really want a brand spankin new pair of killer flat sandals....  here are a few items on my short list of shoes i'm lusting after.
